Please join us in welcoming Ms. Rachel Diaz, Hawthorne’s new Library Media Specialist. Ms. Diaz joined HES at the end of November and has been busy getting to know students, staff, and the library collection. This week, she shared The Mitten with first graders while reinforcing library routines and connecting books to classroom learning. We are excited to have Ms. Diaz supporting our readers and partnering with teachers. We also extend special thanks to Ms. Igo for keeping the library running smoothly during the transition.
