Hawthorne Grinchmas Supports Local Families Through Hat & Glove Drive

Hawthorne staff and families helped make our inaugural Hat & Glove Drive and school-wide Grinchmas celebration a success. Students and staff participated in a Grinch-themed dress-up day, and each class took photos with the Grinch (aka Ms. Mancini). In partnership with the Knights of Columbus of Thornwood, Hawthorne collected more than 350 new hats and pairs of gloves for local families in need, along with handmade cards from students. Thank you to art teacher Melissa Mancini for organizing a meaningful community effort.
