Welcome
Welcome to Hawthorne Elementary School, a place of great beginnings. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to creating an engaging environment where our students can explore, construct and share ideas. We are committed to providing an atmosphere where students become caring, connected, and responsible individuals. We continually strive to refine and differentiate our instructional practices in response to each child’s academic, social, and emotional needs. We are looking forward to an exciting year of working together to support our students.
News & Events
The work on our turf field and athletic facilities on the Westlake Campus is progressing well and we are looking forward to it being completed. It is now time to plan for the next 3-5 years. We are specifically planning improvements to our schools that are focused on both safety and security as well as to the instructional program. Our work will also address the space constraints that currently exist at Hawthorne Elementary School. Just like the field bond, this proposed project will be structured to be tax neutral, thus having no additional impact on our residents' taxes.
It was a day of learning, team building, making connections, and of course the famous bus tour of the district!
