Hawthorne is a place of great beginnings for all children. It is our belief to provide each child with endless opportunities to feel successful and confident as emergent learners. You are welcomed into our special place that celebrates literacy throughout the day in meaningful and enjoyable ways. Be a part of your child's journey and together we can make it all happen.
As Principal of eight years at HES, it just gets better with each new academic year. The excitement grows because there are always new things to learn and embrace. Let's focus on health/wellness, safety and a challenging curriculum.
From the Principal
As a result of the continuing improvements in communication technology we can interact with people across our globe. The world has dramatically shrunk and our classrooms have become the ‘world around us.’ We are teaching our children to become global citizens. They require our daily guidance and nurturing. Our parents, our community and our teachers must strive to work together to meet tomorrow’s demands by making certain that we prepare our children for their journey ahead. These early years are critical so join us in a strong partnership and together we can make the difference.
